Consumers get taste for adventure in fish
Sales
of pollock, sea bass and squid have soared in the past year as
consumers have sought alternatives to cod and become more adventurous,
according to Seafish.

Early
results from a new Seafish project's tank trials have shown that flesh
from shellfish waste has the potential to be used as bait for the

Pressure
from the Devon Wildlife Trust, which succeeded in banning scallopers
and other bottom trawlers from an area of Lyme Bay, could force the
displaced fishermen to move into even more sensitive marine areas off
